Miraculous

Miraculous is a 2D top-down game about a miracle fluid that is injected into a dying host. The player assumes the role of this fluid and must fight their way through the body to the source of the disease in order to eradicate it.

Irradiance (6 person team)

  • Developed prototypes for various game concepts to flesh out mechanics and gain valuable insights into what engages players.

  • Worked with developers to flesh out the feel of core systems helping make movement and combat feel awesome and fluid.

  • Created levels which took advantage of core gameplay elements, while introducing them gradually over time.

  • Worked toward ensuring the player felt immersed by playtesting and removing things which pulled players out of the experience.

  • Gained experience working with in-development tools, communicating wants and needs to developers.
